BAll vs Every vs Whole

'Whole' means complete/entire with singular countable nouns. 'All' is used with uncountables and plurals. 'Every' is followed by singular countable nouns.

•I read the whole textbook before the exam. (not all the textbook)

•I reviewed all the evidence carefully. (not the whole evidence)

•Every window in the laboratory was closed. (every + singular noun)

'Neither' is already negative; do not use a double negative.
